Kunio Sato Gallery of the Reader Collection of Japanese Flower-and-Bird Art

Kunio is a woodworker who makes both woodblock prints and intricately carved wooden picture frames. He included flowers and (or) birds in more than twenty of his prints and sixteen examples are included in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Kunio’s creative drawing style gives his prints a look reminiscent of Japanese folk art.
